Overview of Course
Training to become a Care Home Assistant Practitioner is a natural next step for experienced Care Assistants.
This role bridges the gap between Care Assistants and Nurses, performing many nursing tasks and providing essential support due to the current nurse shortage in the UK.
Upon completing CHAPs training, Assistant Practitioners can engage more in management and clinical care. Though not registered, they work under a registered colleague’s direction but can perform tasks independently.
Our CHAPS course consists of seven sessions, with one in-person session at Greaves Hall Ave, Banks, Southport PR9 8BL, one virtual exam, and the remaining sessions conducted online. The in-person session is included in the course price. If you would like a trainer to visit your location for an additional fee, please contact us at sales@cba-training.co.uk.
