Our Train the Trainer courses range from single day to four days in length and are available to participants from throughout the UK.
Our Train the Trainer Training
The Train the Trainer courses we offer are ‘Moving and Handling’ (plus update) , Fire Warden Train the Trainer and ‘Dementia’ (plus update). Our Dementia programme provides you with a set of training materials, including presentation slides that you can use to deliver your own in-house staff training. You must have experience of caring for people with dementia to attend this training.
On successful completion of our Moving and Handling course you will be given access to our forum, with presentations, lesson plans, handouts and NBE standards.
We also offer a two day workshop to gain the NCFE accredited Assessor’s Award for the Care Certificate. Candidates must have a minimum of two years’ experience in health and social care and hold a recognised care qualification at Level 3, such as NVQ or QVC.
CBAT can also provide a QA Level 3 in Education and Training (QCF) for those who do not have prior teaching experience or qualifications. This will particularly suit those who are already working within their chosen sector and wish to gain official qualifications.
The syllabus includes understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches and assessment methods.
The qualification is accredited by Qualsafe Awards and can lead you onto the Level 4 Certificate and Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.
