We provide training for all the major Health and Care sectors, including management development.
The care of young people requires the development of a particular skill set that is well supported by CBAT. Our provision includes courses on safeguarding children (parts 2 and 3), understanding the needs of children, child development, preparation for independence, sexual health awareness and self-harm and ligature training.
We offer clinical courses in subjects such as epilepsy, diabetes and medicine management, plus a full range of provision in Health and Safety and First Aid. This includes three First Aid at Work courses, basic life support and anaphylaxis, food hygiene, and risk assessment (Health and Safety).
The challenges that face carers of young people can require strong and expert management. CBAT offers development courses including a three-day Leadership and Development programme. There are also shorter courses covering Ofsted regulations and quality standards training, handling grievance and disciplinary issues and staff supervision.
CBAT delivers the ideal combination of a bespoke service on a national scale. We listen to your needs and tailor your training accordingly, to fit both your requirements and operation.
We provide training for all the major Health and Care sectors, including management development.
Our large team of trainers has extensive practical experience and CBAT is CPD and Qualsafe certificated.
We design courses that bring results, such as our competency-based assessments to ensure your service is CQC compliant.
Like many organisations before Covid we relied upon a mixture of elearning and face to face training. In the absence of F2F we’ve worked with CBAT to ensure where possible virtual training has plugged the gaps. It’s been a real journey and one that our staff teams have fully embraced.
We now have the confidence to include Virtual Classroom training as part of our blended approach to staff development.
