Overview of Course

This 2-day online course ensures that you are able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all relevant anatomy, physiology and the autonomic nervous system, and aims to increase knowledge of the impact of living with a Spinal Cord

On completion of the course, you will receive a certificate to prove your knowledge and competence in understanding in Spinal Cord Injury and Autonomic Dysreflexia Training.

  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all relevant anatomy and physiology
  • Identify the difference between complete and incomplete injury
  • Identify effects of SCI
  • Describe the SCI pathway

  • Define Autonomic Dysreflexia (AD)
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all relevant anatomy, physiology and the autonomic nervous system
